Navigating how to purchase a firearm online may seem like a daunting task. With your friends here at Recon Rifleworks it doesn't have to be ! First, find the best deal on the item that you wish to purchase, next verify with us that we can't meet or beat that deal (just to make sure that you're getting the best price possible!). After you have found the best deal, make your purchase, and choose the FFL (Federal Firearms Licensee) that you wish to use to facilitate the transfer. Once it arrives your dealer will call you to notify you that it is ready for pick up (some dealers vary in time frame based on how many daily shipments they get and how long it takes to get the items acquired). After you are contacted, go to your dealer and fill out the ATF form 4473 and complete your background. After your background clears and Federal/State requirements are met you may take your new firearm home !
Purchasing a firearm for in store pick up at Recon Rifleworks :
Some of our website items are direct feeds from our distributor inventories. Once you place the order it can take 5-7 business days for your order to arrive. Once your order arrives you will receive an email notification letting you know that your order is ready for pick up. The in-store pick up fee is to cover the background.
Federal / State Requirements for Florida.
Federal requirements include that you pick your firearm up from an FFL and complete a background check.
Reside in the state of the FFL for handguns.
Hold a valid govt issue identification showing residency . This includes: drivers license, hunting/fishing license, at registration. These forms of identification must be valid.
State requirements include :
Age >21 years
3 business day wait from date of purchase (paid in full), unless a holder of a valid Florida Concealed Weapons Permit.
